Week 7
This is our second weekly summary and really marks the most significant step in this travel adventure to date. We have come to the end of our planned engagements: work commitments, social meet ups, play dates, scout camps and musical performances. In the coming week, as we enter September, (and Autumn, as Poppy keeps reminding us) we are both officially not employed and are free to roam beyond the county we have called home for more than twenty years, further afield than our parents homes and across country boarders too.
First, let’s wrap up this week with a brief overview, some teasers if you haven’t read any blog posts this week and some of our, previously unreported, highlights.

Living life in our MoHo
We’ve mostly taken a break from the Motorhome this week as we have been sleeping in tents at Scout Summer Camp. Returning to our small space now, there are a few things to sort including a blown tail light to replace, a mountain of washing to do and some damp kit to air.
The new solar and battery setup has been performing well, we have had to source a new gas bottle which thankfully lasted the week. We have now bought a larger one which will last longer and be cheaper to refill until we can look at modifying the van for LPG.
