A wooden area crowded with water buck, zebra and giraffe
Woodland outside our room

We got to Simba Camp in time for lunch, slightly concerned that they do not accommodate the drivers. Poor Isaac couldn't get a room in town either. I hope he has managed to find somewhere. Our room is lovely and obviously this place is fairly new. The food and service is not like we have been used to the past 4 days. Looking out from our balcony is a wooded area with a few Waterbucks and Zebras in the distance. There were no game drives scheduled for today and so we read the hotel brochure looking for something to entertain us.

Somehow I got it in my mind that we could go for a walk in the woods so we enquired at Reception. The trainee on the desk said, very helpfully, that it wasn't safe to just wander out but that he would provide us a guide.
